About Me
I have always had an interest in nature and science but during my time
bringing up my family I discovered gardening,
which has grown – literally. As said family grew up I chanced
into photography as a GCSE and later A’Level evening class.
I am now very happily gardening and taking pictures as I go.
I have to admit that sometimes the garden job never gets finished as
the camera takes precedence.
I can even get enthusiastic at finding pests and diseases in my garden
- through the lens!.
The past year has been an interesting one, joining the
digital era of photography. I was unwilling to begin with but have been
won over. My slide library is still available and current through the
wonders of scanners.
I have been a successful freelance photographer for the
past eight years and my work has been used in a wide variety of
publications as listed below
Publications:
Gardening Which?, Gardens Monthly, Garden Life, Danish Horticultural
Society, Gardeners World Magazine, Garden News, together with Readers
Digest
publications and the RHS New 2006 Encyclopedia of Perennials (Main
